Multiple Touch Devices Simulating a Different Connection Speed and Screen Orientation
In this example, we'll use Simulations to test our website on an iPhone 12 under the following conditions:
- Portrait, regular connection
- Portrait, slow 3G connection
- Landscape, regular connection
- Landscape, slow 3G connection
And an iPad Pro under the following conditions:
- Landscape, regular connection
- Landscape, slow 3G connection
Adding, Removing, and Reordering Devices to the workspace and switch to Float Mode.
Cloning Devices—Create Modified Versions of Existing Devices the iPhone three times and the iPad once. Screen Orientation two of the iPhones and position the devices to your preference.
Optionally, Editing Custom Devices like in the example below.
Only cloned devices can be renamed. If you want a custom name for all devices, create another clone, rename it, and hide the default device from the workspace.
Set one of each device type and orientation to Per-device Simulations a slow 3G connection. Save the preset.
Reload the website and see the difference.
